19th Birthday

Sooo last Thursday was my 19th birthdayyy. I initially didn't have any plans, and even if I did, going to Karawaci will NOT be included in any of them, but theeennn my friends wanted to go to eskrim om and as a very very very nice friend I have to come along. So we all agreed to go on Thursday. Well, eskrim om on my birthday it is! Yay! Each of us got 2 flavours, I went for straaa...ciella? I don't quite remember, and the other one was something... cream. He should give his ice creams simpler names for sure.  Anyway after that, off we went to Summarecon Mall Serpong or SMS for short. After wandered around for a bit, we decided to have a dinner at Olive House. I ordered carbonara, a very creamy carbonara it was. Nom nom nom.

Then after we've all finished our food. My friend Ellyn went to the toilet, but I had no idea that she was actually getting a bithday cake. She had such a pokerface and that performance deserves an Oscar, really. 

I just noticed that abang2 in the background was posing for the camera -_- 

Thank youuuuu Ellyn and Jo Nggg. I thought nothing can beat my 18th birthday last year, but I was proven wrong! And did I mention that my dad got me a guitar as birthday present? I've ask for it for quite a while and finally got it last week. Thankyou papaaaaa.

And out of boredom I finally log in to my tumblr account which I made long time ago but never used since I don't really get the hang of it. Then after staring at it for a while,  I finally realized that there is this tiny box on the right side with a box which contain a picture of a magnifier on its right. Guess what? It's the great invention of the century called search box, and you just type whatever keywords you like, then hit the magnifier thing and voila a stream of pretty pictures is flooding on your screen. OH WOW I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO LOOK FOR PRETTY PICTURES ON TUMBLR!!! ...and i can't stop tumblr-ing ever since! I fell like reblogging everything it's insane. HOLA HOLIDAY

Finally! It's HOLIDAAAYYYYY WOHOOOO! Not much happened today but yesterday was amazingggggg. So yesterday I went out with doraaaaa, she picked me up at 11 and then we went to pv to watch Arthur Christmas but the cinema hasn't opened yet so I was like "Let's go to Puri" and then off we go. Unfortunately there was no Arthur Christmas at puri XXI so we watched Tintin instead. It was pretty entertaining. After that we're off to dm mall where I FINALLY found affordable-but-decent-material santa hattt aaaaaaa super happy! Both of us got the same oneee and then we're off again to eat bakmi abang abanggg nyahahhaha. Theennn we wandered around for quite a while before the day ended and I came back home. And she got me early birthday present! Spongebob pencil case, Spongebob contact lens case, a christmas song cd and my favourite song cd that she burned herself, all wrapped up in a Spongebob shopping bag. Oh my gosh the cds are the cutest thing everr since the front and back cover are DIY, she wrote and decorated them herself so it was very thoughtful of her. THANKYOUUUUUUU DORAAA :*

Things That I like

Despite having finals starting tomorrow, I feel rather calm and... happy. Which is weird, I should be a ball of nervous wreck right about now, hmm maybe due to the fact that most of my finals are take home, so since I'm a design student, for finals we were given instructions a few weeks prior about all crap that we have to make and then during calm period, which is a week off right before finals, we would tackle them one by one. Sooo I've done mine, all of them, and I am surprisingly pleasant with the end results, except the one for computer graphic class. That one sucked and I will definitely start that one over. 

So since a few days ago while looking for inspiration all over the internet, I found some nice pictures of things that I love and I thought "hey it deserves a post on my blog" so here we go.

- Chandelier

I used to think they're just okay, but right now I love them. Chandeliers are just super pretty.

- Lace

Lace has never been my cup of tea, it really came as a surprise when I realize how pretty they actually are, especially on clothes.

Now tell me, who doesn't love Christmas? It's that time of a year where happiness seems to be everywhere.

I didn't realize that i like bows until one day I looked through my clothes and realize that I have quite a lot of tops with bows attached on them.

She played Effy on Skins and I loooove her both on and off screen. Her look is just very strikingly beautiful.

She's one kick ass model and I just adore her down to earth and crazy personality.

Well it's 9:41 PM alreadyyyyyy and my room's a total mess so I'm gonna stop right here. BYE. Geez blogging always makes time seem to fly way way waaay faster :s

Breaking Dawn part 1!

After major disappointment towards new moon and eclipse.. FINALLY Breaking Dawn brings something worth watching to the table. Mark my words, it is obviously not the best movie ever but Breaking Dawn is surely miles ahead compared to its previous installments. Here are some of my favourite parts of the movie:

- The wedding, it's just.. pretty and the moment Flightless Bird American Mouth was played on the background, I was like, LOOOOOOVEEE <3

- When Bella awkwardly poses in lingerie and intentionally laying on bed in a seductive manner beside Edward. Also how they spent some quality time playing chess against each other is just sooooo sweet and sincere

- The moment Edward saw Bella, when all that's left of her was just flesh and bone really broke my heart :"(

- The moment Edward heard the baby's thoughts and how happy Bella's face when he shared it with her is just very endearing

- The flashbacks when Bella was transforming into a vampire was AH-MAZINGGG, they used lots of scenes from Twilight which is totally icing on the cake.

So Breaking Dawn definitely exceeds my expectation which is a good thing, but considering how bad New Moon and Eclipse was, I didn't set the bar too high on this one on the first place, which is... not a good thing. But I'm happily surprised though, New Moon and Eclipse made me neither team Edward nor Jacob, but after Breaking Dawn I think I'm slowly creepin back to team Edward wohooo

Today would go down in history as the most unproductive day ever. Spent this whole day doing practically nothing (watching tv and eating don't count) Anyway I've been editing photos using photoshop for hours today and here are some of them.

I just freaking changed my blog headerrr aaaaaaa OH WOW never thought I could ever done that since arranging blogger's layout has always been something I've struggled with for a long loooooonggg timeee! But I just did it soooo hooray for meee hahahhaa anyway the photo was taken from our little photoshoot session for photography assignment. It requires us to snap photos with five different lightings that has been learnt in class. HOW. EXCITING.

Heeeeelloooooo

Life’s been extremely awesome these days, yes there are still some minor troubles here and there but still, I would be such a whiner if I ever dare to complain about that since everything went rather smoothly these past few days.

Sooooo last Friday I was in my uni until late at night, until about 9 pm to be exact. I was there for one particular reason which waaaaasssss to watch two of my housematesss battle it out head to head on a basketball match woohooo. The match was between accounting and food technology. This has never happened before and it’s kind of tricky since when one of them won it means the other one lost the game so I should be both happy and sad after the game ended hahahhaha. Anyway I have neevvveerr been a fan of basketball and I was there purely to give some moral support for both of them. I’ve been doing it since last semester and I believe I have never missed any of their games, except on the first semester on this sports event for new students called PORANG (not quite sure about the spell -_-) I practically missed every game they had hahhaaha.

So clearly, I didn’t understand a thing about basketball and I even fell asleep once when I watched ellyn played, even the ball hates me!! There was this one time when I watched dora played, I swear someone threw the ball on my direction, not purposely of course, but still it scared the hell outta me since it was almost freaking hit meeee!! And it happened again yesterday! But I’ll still watch either of them plays anyway. I usually become the lazy one when it comes to things like this, that’s why I missed every single game they had during porang, but I remember when dora played again on second semester, she told me to come and watch and so did Ellyn, and then the laziness in me suddenly flew out of the window. I don’t know, somehow I feel less useless when I came to support my friends. I’m not sure how to put it in proper words, it’s almost like it helps them just by being present to watch the game and since my presence usually go unnoticed at most times it feels incredible when finally for once, my presence means something for my friends and that’s the least I can do to support them anyway. Nowadays I would feel super guilty if I ever miss any of their games, I would feel like a mom who missed her own kid’s game hahhahahaha.

Anywaaay yesterday I sat along with food tech’s supporter since their bench was closer to the entrance and I happen to know one of Ellyn’s friend who is Susuuuu so I sat next to her. None of my other housemates could make it to the game so thank God she was there, otherwise I had to sit in the middle of a bunch of people I don’t even know. So I was sitting behind this girl, and this particular girl was SUPERR OBNOXIOUSSS, she was screaming all over the place! I mean, I get it that she wants to support her friends but her act was just waaaaaay over the top. And theeeen there was this one time when dora scored, and I was about to clap my hands until I realized the fact that I was literally sandwiched between food tech’s supporter and clapping my hands when someone from accounting just scored, might just cost me my life. Okay maybe I do exaggerate a tiny bit, but they will definitely had this urge to murder me if I ever had the guts to do that, especially the obnoxious girl in front of me. The only person in that crowd who I could stand was obviously Susuuu.

Well, it's 2.05 am according to my mac so lets end this post by praying that none of food tech’s supporter would read any of this crap I just wrote, especially the obnoxious girl because if they do, my biggest fear would be that they might have this plan to hire a detective to hunt me down, in the mean time, they would be inventing some kind of poisonous FOOD with TECHNOLOGY they've learnt so when the detective finally tracked me down, they could shove it down my throat. Hmm I just exaggerated once again hahahhaha cao for now    

HOLA

After working my ass off since Friday, I'm going to take a few moments to breath... and blog! Lets see last Friday was quite special, I have never ever thought that it would be the day when I bought my first OPI nailpolishhh aaaaaaaa it is called Are We There Yet from OPI Fall/Winter 2011 Touring America collection (yes, I just did my research hahaha thanks google) Anyway it is a suuuuuper pretty orangey coral colour which I've been looking for FOR AGES and when I laid my eyes on it, it was magical, as if it was screaming my name over and over again, plus they marked down the price a little bit, HOW CAN I RESIST??? OMGGGGG I looooveeee it sooooo muccchhhh I just noticed that the color has such a nice depth that it looks different under various lighting and on top of that it has this very fine pinkish shimmer which is totally the icing on the cake. 

Well, I've always been a little obsessed on nailpolish, I've always had this dream about having a drawer full of OPI nailpolishes in every shades possible, even if I'm not going to wear every single colour that I own, just looking at those little babies would bring sprinkles of joy to my life that is full of sorrow HAHAHA BAHASA GUEEH GELAAAAA!! EHEM! Anywaaayyy my quest of finding the perfect coral nailpolish is finally overrr, next on my wishlist is probably a deep burgundy red? I don't know I've always wanted o try a deep red nailpolish but somehow it reminds me of an old woman? Hmm aaand cobalt blue might be fun to try, although most of the time I tend to gravitate towards softer colours when I went nailpolish hunting. 

Another exciting news worth mentioning here isssss..... I just got myself a brand new maroon jeansssssss aaaaaaaa it was a long long story. So about 2 weeks ago I went to Stradivarius store in PI where I first laid my eyes on that gorgeous little thing, and then I immediately tried it on. To my disappointment, it was way to big, it makes my thighs look like a couple of overgrown gigantic turnips hmmm not good! So I went back to find one size smaller BUT to my disappointment AGAIN, the only one left was two size below which is 34, which, by the look of it will definitely squeeze the life out of my legs if I ever decided to try it on. So I went home, with images of that perfect maroon jeans dancing around in my head.. untilll yesterdayyyyyy when I went to CP and we were reuniteddd, this time my size was availableeeee it's like my prayers have been answered! I tried the damn pants on...... look in the mirror....... IT FITS PERFECTLY THANK YOU LORD!!! IT LOOKS AWESOME AND IT DIDNT MAKE MY THIGHS LOOKS BIG I LOVE YOU PANTS! SMOOCH!!

So that whole pants story bring us to the end of this post since I have to pack my stuff for tomorrowwwww. Caooo hopefully something exciting happen next week so I could keep this blog updated with awesome stories hahahahhaahaha

Sorry for being a bad blogger these days but lately I am either (a) too preoccupied with school assignments or (b) have some time to blog but have absolutely nothing to blog about
Anyway I still dont have anything to blog about so I guess I'll just keep youuuuuu updated on what's currently going on in myyyyyy life


Well lets see..
- I got 35 out of 100 on theology test yesterday ( definitely not a great thing to start with)
- On a lighter note, I got 85 on communication visual design and 78 on illustration 
- But I got 55 on civics
- I looove frosty ice cream from wendys, it's super yummy and the best part is... it's dirt cheap terimakasih kepada olin yang telah meracuni diriku dengan eskrim tigaribu
- Cant get enough of crispy mushroom sold near lovi's neighbourhood
- Cant get enough of eskrim om
- Me and my friends keep postponing our plan to attend student fellowship for theology assignment
- Lately I find it easier to get up in the morning, back then i would be as mad as an ogre if I have to get up early, especially for class, I still got sleepy eyes during lectures though
- I laugh way too much in class
- Uni is not that scary anymore
- I left my old group of friends (BEST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE, EVER!)
- My love for fashion is getting out of control, just browsing through lookbook.nu makes me smile from ear to ear, especially when I find particular outfits that I adore
- I now drive myself to uni since I'm not that afraid to park anymore
- I sometimes doubt my conscience
- I miss spending time with my high school friends and I hate the fact that most of them are overseas since it makes it much more difficult to meet up
- I need to limit my spending or else I'm going bankrupt soon 
- I feel greatly blessed and I'm grateful for that
- I get the opportunity to develop deeper level of friendship with some people that it totally changes my perspective about them
- I wanna learn how to play guitar
- I used to think that it is totally impossible to have genuine friendship in university, since everyone seems so guarded and individualistic, but thank God I was eventually proven wrong
- I havent go watch movies in the longest time ever! Last movie that I watched was Kung Fu Panda and it successfully got me weeping


I think that's all I can think on top of my head right now, hopefully someone out there will find it interesting

What did I do? When did it go wrong? Why can't everything goes smoothly?
I just got a few things sorted out then something else fell apart, something that I thought was solid as steel, couldn't be taken down by anything but I was proven wrong, completely wrong.
I could clearly see when the crack started to appear and I do remember it like it was yesterday, tried my best to conceal it but eventually it broke down into tiny little pieces.

One day of epic fun

Clearly they don't just go around and say Thank God It's Friday for nothing! Because yesterday, which was Friday by the way, was ubeeeeeer fun!! As in THIS much fun *streches hand far apart* Where should I even begin, hmm lets see.. so the day started with computer graphic class in which we were taught how to create some sort of pattern made out of whatever shape we like, it went pretty well, I managed to actually stay focus and listen to the lecturer when he explained the steps and voila! I got it done and then he told us to experiment using different effects provided, and.. i did! 

Out of bore I randomly chose the most interesting looking effect which turned whatever design you make into some sort of colourful stained glasses that often could be found in church. Well, all I did was a click! And it was done and done! I was just staring blankly at my 'piece of art' when out of a sudden my friends took a glance at it and was like "OMG how did you that? Which effect did you choose? That is awesome!" Even the lecturer praised it when he walked past me and I was like... (o___0)..... FOR GOD'S SAKE ALL I DID WAS CLICKING ON THAT TINY STAINED GLASS EFFECT BUTTON!!! NO BIG DEAL DOES IT REALLY TURN OUT TO BE THAT AWESOME? REALLY?? ahahhahaha

Next it was photography class!!! OMGOMGOMG LOVEEEEEEEE LOVELOVELOVE THE LECTURERS. They articulate my opinion perfectly!!! Like, spot on! What struck me the most is when one of the lecturers talked about people who pretend to know.. whatever they are pretending to know, when in reality they don't know a thing about it. Does it make any sense? Aaanyway he also said something about some people trying to hard to be different which was SPOT.ON.GENIUS! I literally felt like jumping out of my chair, running forward, pointing at him while yelling "YOU MUST BE SOME KIND OF FREAKING PHYSCIC BECAUSE OTHERWISE THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE IN THE WORLD YOU WOULD KNOW EXACTLY, I REPEAT, E-XACT-LY MY OPINION ABOUT THOSE STUFF YOU JUST TALKED ABOUT!!!" They also shared some super amazing videos that literally send chills down my spine, among those videos were free hugs video, and another video called where the hell is matt which was simple but incredibly awesome in such an unspeakable way, I mean, I still got chills when I watched the video for the second time at home!

Theeennnn finallyyy after class I drove around with my friends and we did a little photoshoot which was... i don't even know how to put that in one word. It was a blend of pure awesome, fun, hysterical, awkward, and.. you get the idea *wink* It was a total blast! Apart from the fact that we almost got busted by one of our lecturer's assistant! aahhahaha 

All in all, today was ah-maaaazing in everyway possible! Thank God It's Friday and hopefully the next Fridays to come would be just as good, if not better!

camera, lights, action!

Yesterday I brought my camera to uni and after class me and a friend of mine (stalk her blog -> http://inthedrizzlingrain.blogspot.com/) took a few snaps at Times Bookstore. It was sooooo much fun! Even though  once the camera was pointed at me, my mind suddenly went blank. I guess posing doesn't come natural to me after all.

Anyway on the brighter note I just got a new cameraaaaaa it's basically for photography class purpose but a dslr camera means a MUCH better pictures which means a gateway towards becoming a fashion blogger is now wide open!!! woohooooo EX.CI.TED!

Hola hola holiday

Apparently it's been awhile since I last updated my blog so... hello there! Short semester is finally over and to sum it up in one word would be.. bittersweet. Sweet because I could finally get THE much needed holiday, bitter because here comes long semester full force within plain sight. I should reeeally prepare myself for the adobe photoshop and illustrator wave attack, but as we all know, technology hates me.. with a passion. My first laptop that I got broke off 3 days after I got it, no.joke. Now that we're talking about laptops I just remember that I need to get microsoft office installed on my macbookpro -__- and I also need to get my car's aircon fix before uni starts in the next 3 weeks.

Ok so here goes my to do list: - Get microsoft office for macbook + photoshop + illustrator??

                                        - Get abu's aircon fix, abu = my car's name, yeah go ahead and laugh

Anyway first day of holiday, which was yesterdaaay was awesome! I actually got to go to magnum cafe without having to wait that long, yay for mondayyy hence the super short queue. The ice cream was tasty minus the hard-as-rock biscuit, and we watched Dylan Dog afterwards which wasn't good at all, and the day was closed with a very humble gembel dinner at A&W. I loooooove rootbeer best thing ever. If I have a rootbeer fountain at home or basically any source of unlimited flow of rootbeer, I swear I'd die happy.

On the other hand today wasssss blahh. It's already 3:36 according to my laptop and all I've got done today was........ my nails. I painted them mint green and baby blue, which I like a lottt, and I played myshops and got to level 8 wohooo

Okay so I guess I'll be heading back to my bed and watch spongebob or something

H for HOLLA

Sooo the second semester are waaay behind! Well, not really, more like 4 days behind? Anyway what a roller coaster ride it has been! Where should I start, it really had its own ups and downs, mostly downs but still.. look at the bright side at least I've got a handful of people who are worthy to be called friends wohooo YAY for new friends! And at this point I really could careless about -borrowing the term from harrypotter series- "you know who" Right now I'm enjoying the second day of my 1 week supershort holiday since I'm taking the short semester, yaaay how fun... not! Anyway I'm sipping a huge glass of some random chinese herbal tea as I'm typing this and it tastes soooooo good. It's basically just.. sweet and since I am a self confessed sweet tooth it does make sense, right? and my favourite cake is tiramisuuu YUM! *shrugs* just throwing it out there

Aaaaanyway I just finished reading Nicholas Sparks' The Last Song and it is, like, supersad you guysssss I literally were bawling my eyes out towards the end and now currently reading The Notebook which -from the hype- is another sad novel! yaaaaay... and I also watched I am Sam the other day, OMG it's soooo goood my favourite is when Sam said something like people like you are perfect, people like you dont know how it feels like to be hurt yada yada yada and then the lawyer said something like you think so? well people like me has husband that screwing other woman, has a son that wont talk to her yada yada yada and of couurrsseeee the ending is just priceless I cried during that movie, I really did. Straight after that I watched The Time Traveler's Wife which ALSO made me cry! Geez I cried a lot! I might as well pack my bags and move to cryville, population: ME, hey don't blame me, the part where the time travel guy knows that he's about to die was SO.SAD.period.

Okay I'd better finish reading The Notebook and have my pack of tissues ready beside me. Au revoirrrrrr :*

FA.BU.LUS!

I've always wanted to ramble about fashion. Particularly THE fashion around my university area. Let's face it, commonly known as THE university for young people with wealthy parents, before going in, I've had high expectations on the students' sense of fashion since on some cases, money equals nice clothes, right? Thats why I truly admire normal people with normal shopping budget who can make an outfit looked expensive. On the other hand I pity the fool who had ALL the money in this whole wide world but STILL manage to look like a trashbag, I mean, hellooooo put your money to good use lady! You can afford nice clothes, why opted for some tacky-looking clothes instead? *verylongsigh* none of my business thoughhhhh

Anyways back to topic, after OBSERVING CAREFULLY (halah) for about... 8 months? I feel rather qualified to write about this subject *pedejaya*. Soooooo it's not dissapointing actually. I've seen LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of Balenciaga bags. and OHMYGAWDD I've spotted someone carrying the infamous Alexander Wang Coco duffel bag!! *drool*

Outfit wise, despite the usual plainTshirt-and-jeans combo (which I shamelessly wear during lazy times *ssshhh*) some people could really make an interesting outfit choice. One thing that stood out the most to me though is the legging-as-pants look which I THINK are a little bit overdone. A few months ago it was WAY worse though. Everyday I saw AT LEAST about three person sporting that look. There's nothing wrong with it BUT what annoys me is when the top isnt long enough to cover those buttcheeks!! *GASP*

According to dellamelon's legging-as-pants guide book (coming soon to your nearest bookstores), one other thing everyone needs to keep in mind when considering to try legging-as-pants look is that DONT EVER WEAR... *drumroll* *more drumroll* *LOUDER DRUMROLL* PINK.LACEY.UNDERWEAR underneath your legging because believe me it will find its way to peek through. If you're fine with it, please have mercy on other people because not everyone is excited abour your FREAKING PINK UNDIES PEEKING THROUGH YOUR LEGGING. Nobody wants to play peek-a-boo with your undies, whatever color it is. That kinda sighting actually hurts other people's eyeballs, really. Trust me, I've witnessed that. It was actually one of my *cough*class*cough*mate*coughcough*

Another thing is Tory Burch flats! They are freaking eeeeeeeverywhere recently. SAME THING GOES WITH MY PHONEEE!! WHITE ONYX ARE FREAKING EVERYWHERE NOWADAYS! as a matter of fact, actually the other day when I was on the bus on my way to uni there are two girls sat on my right side who has the same exact phone as mine!!

One of the main reason why i get white onyx is because not much people have it, the other reason is because it's quite pretty. Oh well whatever its fifty three minutes after one I'm all alone and I need some sleeppp! (get it? melesetin lagu need you now nya lady antebellum aha aha rada maksa sih) goodnighttttt

galau-ness overload

It's getting harder and harder to deal with people nowadays. There are those who you initially thought were friends material but then after awhile the mask they wore starting to shed and therefore showing their true colors which is, sadly, not pretty. Then there are those who you can relate to very well but sometimes they just get on your nerves because of their enourmous ego. And finally there are those who just rub you the wrong way. I dont get it, up until this point, all I try to do is simply doing "the right thing". All I try to be is a good friend, even if that means I have to sacrifice my precious time of sleep just to keep them company, or if I have to put my assignments on hold because they need a hand, or if I have to do something I actually dont have to just because they simply want me to.For every single thing I did I dont expect much in return, although I'll be more than happy if they could probably return the favor for once.

I was there, prevent them from unbearable loneliness. Tried so hard to make them laugh and forget about whatever they're facing for a moment. They were here, when I need someone to share a laugh with. But when loneliness got the best of me.. when I actually need them the most, nobody's there. It's always hard when you feel too attached to someone. Especially when you feel like you couldnt live without that person and then you eventually found out that person can live without you. I hate you, lonely feeling, but I guess I have to get use to you, come knocking on my door every now and then.

To balance things out I've got a few things to be thankful of. First one is my brand new blackberryyy who is 2 weeks and 3 days old as of today aaa berasa lngsung jadi manusia abad 21 stelah gnti bb ahay and then the fact that my bff also get one only 2 weeks after I got mine is also exciting and completely unexpected. That was a pretty sweet surprise indeed. And then the fact that I recently get to know someone with similiar way of thinking as mine is also worth mentioning here. We're like into the exact same things such as fashion, travelling, and stuff which is super awesomeeeee.. We could just talk for hours and still havent run out of things to talk about. And despite all of that, overall everything goes by rather smoothly, well not super smooth but at least I could handle everything that comes my way so far and for that I thank You Lord for looking after me every second of every minute of every hour of everyday.
